Centralia City Firemen say damage to a shredder truck is estimated at $,2000 after the shredded items in the back of the truck caught fire.
The truck owned by Citi Shred, LLC was traveling down the 300 block of South Poplar when the driver was alerted the rear of the truck was on fire. Centralia firemen believe the fire was set off by a vape pin.
The fire did not spread to the passenger or engine compartment of the truck.
The fire call came in at 9:41 Thursday morning.
