The Farina Fourth of July Celebration is being held on Saturday.
Activities are centered in the Farina Park. Food stands and the beer garden will open at noon. Parade registration is at two, with the parade stepping off through downtown to the park at three. Southern Illinois Elite Tumble and Cheer will perform at 3:45. Inflatables, pony rides, kids games and Bingo begin at four. There will be a Cake Walk at the Pavilion at five.
Entertainment begins at 5:15 with Katie Hatch. The John and Dave Duo take the stage at 7:45 and perform up until the fireworks display from J and M Displays at 9:30. The John and Dave Duo then return to the stage at ten and will play until 10:30.
