Coach Dennis Conley has been a main stay for the baseball program at Olney Central College as he has been the head coach for the Blue Knights for 43 years. Coach Conley announced his upcoming retirement as his last day at OCC will be Friday.
Conley has been one of the best, with 40 consecutive winning seasons and 1,518 wins he was inducted into the NJCAA Hall of Fame in 2010. He had 315 players move on to 4 year schools on baseball scholarships and 45 players signed professional contracts including South Central grad Shawn Garrett who played for Conley after his time with the Cougars and was then drafted by the San Diego Padres.
