The Salem Shrine Club is hosting a free screening clinic for children with bone, muscle or joint problems from nine to noon Saturday at Salem Township Hospital.
Children who have stiff joints, clubfoot, hip conditions, brittle bones, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, limb deformities or length differences as well as neurological disorders such as rickets, scar revisions, scoliosis, specialized plastic surgery or spina bifida are eligible to receive care if they are under the age of 18 with a treatable orthopedic condition. Income, financial status and/or insurance coverage has no impact on eligibility for services.
For more information you can call 618-292-1816.
Those going to the clinic should enter through the emergency room entrance of Salem Township Hospital as the front entrance is closed for parking lot reconstruction.
