MCSB Beats Somer In Majors Softball

In Salem Little League Majors Softball, Marion County Savings Bank won big over Somer Real Estate 10-4 on Tuesday.

Marion County Savings Bank got on the board in the first inning when Emily Jones singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.  Keira Meredith led things off on the rubber for Marion County Savings Bank. The hurler allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out 16 and walking one.Chelsey Haines was in the circle for Somer Real Estate. Chelsey allowed four hits and five runs over two innings, striking out four.  Max Machieowski threw four innings in relief.Marion County Savings Bank collected seven hits.  Kenley Cripps, Keira Merideth, and Emily Jones all collected multiple hits for Marion County Savings Bank.  Emily, Keira, and Kenley each managed two hits to lead Marion County Savings Bank.
Zetta Graham led Somer Real Estate with two hits in three at bats.  Somer Real Estate stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Addy Pracht led the way with three.
