The South Central 15u Storm Chasers won the 10th annual Summer Slam Baseball Tournament in Sikeston, Missouri. The team went 4-0 on the weekend beating the Scorpions Midwest 16-5 and Fighting Squirrels 1-0 on Saturday. Sunday they beat CFS 5-1 and then the Breese Flames 9-1.
The 8u Storm Chasers earned a pair of wins against the Breese Miners 20-13 and 22-16.
The Fuzion 08 softball team was 3rd at the 12-team USSSA Double Points Tournament. They finished the weekend 4-2 as they head to Edwardsville this weekend for the USSSA State Tournament.
The Salem 13u went 2-2 in tournament action over the weekend. The opened with a 6-3 win over TTown. They finished Saturday with a 5-1 loss to Newton. Then on Sunday, Salem beat the Storm Chasers 9-1 and then lost to the Richland County Raptors 10-2.
