In Little League baseball Majors at the Complex last night, Security Alarm beat Rotary 2-0 handing the Reds their first loss of the season. Jax Schaubert pitched the complete game shutout. Bentley Bryan and Ty Lutz scored the two runs.
In softball Majors, Salem Tire beat Somer Real Estate 6-4. Katee Sellers was the winning pitcher striking out 11. Kaolin Lewis had 3 hits and scored a run, Baylee Brown and Sellers each had 2 hits and scored runs. Brylee Carter and Morgan Holland added hits and runs. In the loss, Chelsey Haines struck out 5. Zetta Graham, Adysen Pracht and Ashlyn Jamison had hits.
Marion County Savings Bank beat Radiac 8-3. Kenley Cripps pitched the first two innings allowing just one hit and 3 strikeouts. Emily Parrett was in the circle for Radiac and in the loss surrendered 8 runs on just one hit over 5 innings with 14 strikeouts. For MCSB, Emily Jones had a hit, Parrett had 2 hits for Radiac.
