The Casey Mount Vernon trio will start their long journey to the New Balance Middle School Track & Field Championship held in Philadelphia. Coach Doug Jones along with Malik Grissom, JaShawn Staples and Josh Crowder will be meeting in the south parking lot today in front of the new gym around 12:30 today before heading on the 850 mile road trip for anyone who wants to meet to wish the guys good luck before their trip. Over 110 individuals and local businesses donated to help cover expenses as the group gets to compete one more time. The trio helped Casey win the Class L State Track championship this year. The Meet takes place this weekend.
