The SC 15u Storm Chasers went 2-1 in tournament action in O’Fallon losing their first elimination game on Sunday to the Cumberland Rage 2-1. Colton Shelton had a hit along with Brody Collier. Shelton took the loss going all 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and struck out 7.
SC opened the tournament on Saturday with a 7-0 win over the Missouri Gators. Trevan Sidwell had 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI, Shelton added an RBI on 2 doubles.
They then beat the Illinois Redbirds 2-1. Cody Beard had an RBI, Ian Jones 2 hits, Shelton also had a hit, Hunter Horn had a hit and run, Chase Guerrettaz also had a double, a run and RBI.
