The Salem 13u hosted a tournament at the Complex that was rained out after early bracket games on Sunday. Salem went 0-2 in pool play losing to Altamont Tribe in the opener 6-4. Logan Butts had a hit and RBI along with Nicholi Mahranka and Trenton Shelton had a hit and RBI. Damon Jennings added a single and run.
In the second pool game, Salem lost 12-2 to South Central. Silas Lux drove in a Salem run, Kyler King had a hit and run.
Salem won their first game Sunday before the rain, eliminating Altamont 11-1. Scout Puricelli had 2 RBI and 2 runs scored, Logan Butts drove in 3 on 2 hits with King adding an RBI.
