The Salem 10u played in tournament action this weekend hosting a tournament at the Little League Complex that ended up getting rained out on Sunday. The 10u finished 0-3 in action falling to the Storm Chasers in their opening game Saturday 14-3. Issak Knapp drove in a run, Jacob Butts finished with 2 hits and a run scored, EJ Wolfe also had a hit and run.
Salem then fell in their final pool play game Saturday night 16-7 to Marion. Wolfe had 2 hits and scored, Butts had a hit, RBI and run, Maddox Lograsso had a hit and RBI, Izac Herrell also had a hit, RBI and 2 runs scored.
The 10u dropped their elimination game on Sunday before the rain came in losing to Vandalia 12-2. Knapp drove in a run for Salem, Butts, Nolan Krutsinger and Wolfe had hits.
