The Charleston Lady Trojans fell in their 3a state softball semifinal at Louisville Slugger Stadium in Peoria losing to Antioch 3-0. They will play in the 3rd place game for the programs first ever state trophy at 9am against Lisle Benet Academy who lost in 6-innings to Lemont 10-0. The state title game is at 11:30.
The 4a state softball championship will be at 3:30 between Marist and Yorkville. Marist needed just 5-innings to beat Barrington 10-0. Yorkville nipped Oak Park River Forest in 13 innings 4-3. The 3rd place game starts at 1pm.
