The Effingham Hearts are off to the Class 3a State Final Four after knocking off Champaign Central at the Millikin University Super Sectional 4-0. The Hearts will advance to Duly Health & Care Field in Joliet Friday for their semifinal game against Grayslake Central at 10am followed by Nazareth Academy and Sycamore.
The Edwardsville Tigers punched their ticket to the 4a State Semifinals after their 5-2 win over Oswego East to win the Illinois Wesleyan Super Sectional. They will play on Friday at 3pm in the first semifinal against Elmhurst York with Brother Rice and New Trier in the other game.
