The Charleston Lady Trojans punched their ticket to their first ever 3a state semifinal after winning the Millikin Super Sectional over fellow Apollo school Mt Zion 5-4. They will play in the 2nd semifinal at Louisville Slugger Stadium in Peoria on Friday against Antioch with Lemont and Lisle Benet Academy in the other game.
The 4a softball final four will see Oak Park River Forest taking on Yorkville and Marist will play Barrington.
