Patoka Trap Shooting Team Qualifies For Nationals

The Patoka Trap Shoot Team competed at the State Competition over the weekend at Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill.  Season Awards were received with 2nd place finishes by Braden Meyer and Haley Hassebrock.  Wyatt Hassell and Hayleigh Jones were each 3rd.  In the State Competition, Hassell and Meyer tied for 25th out of 384 shooters.  Keaton Wilkerson tied for 106 along with Hayden Cole.  Evan Meier was 276 and Ben Spenser 338.

Jones tied for 10th out of 52 shooters in the Varsity Female division.  Hassebrock tied for 22nd and Emily Pryor tied for 35th.

For Jv, Easton Garner tied for 61st out of 214 male shooters, Gesleigh Plummer tied for 30th out of 44 female shooters.  In the Novice Male, Alec Payne tied for 20th out of 107 shooters and Justin Copple tied for 7th.  In the Novice Female, Bria Thompson was 36th out of 47 shooters.  The team placed 15th out of 57 teams just 19 birds from 1st place.  Now the team moves on to Nationals to be held July 5-9 in Mason, Michigan.
