The Salem Community Theatre’s performance of “The Odd Couple (Female Version)” debuts Friday night.
Performances are also scheduled at seven pm this Saturday night and next Friday and Saturday night. There will be matinees at three this Sunday afternoon and on Sunday, June 11th.
Neil Simon’s hilarious contemporary comic classic is being directed by Diana McIntosh. This is the 14th play that McIntosh has directed or has been assistant director. She was assistant director when the male Odd Couple play was performed in 2007.
“It’s funny and the actors are very talented. I don’t have one up there that can’t do their part. They have really come through and made their characters real.”

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets may be purchased at Salem City Hall, online at SalemILTheater.org, or in the lobby a half-hour before each show.
This is the opening play of the new season for the Salem Community Theatre. The Missoula Children’s Theatre will perform The Princess and the Pea on June 24th. The Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-time is scheduled for September 15th-17th and 22nd-24th. Neal Simon’s Fools is scheduled for February 2nd-4th and 8th-10th.
