In Little League Majors, Rotary beat Security Alarm 14-0 behind a 2-hit shutout from Jared Crompton. He struck out 9. At the plate, Zane Applegate had 3 hits including 2 doubles, Kai Graham singled twice along with Kemper Johnson, Matt Carter doubled, Davion Garrison hit a triple and Crompton chipped in with a single. In the loss, Rhett Starnes and Myles Donoho had hits.
In summer softball Tuesday night at the complex Bandys pulled out a win against People’s State Bank 7-1. Winning pitcher Gabby Goostree with 10 strikes out. Bandys had some hot bats, Violet had 3 hits for Bandys. Gabby added in a homerun. Kaylee and Gwen each had a double. Losing pitcher Gia with 11 strike outs. People’s State Bank collected 2 hits for the evening. Jayla with a single and Grayce with a double.
