The baseball sectionals will open today. In the 1a Altamont Sectional, South Central and Arcola will play at 4:30 followed by St Anthony and Casey Westfield.
In 2a at Breese Central, TTown will play Father McGivney. Nashville plays Anna Jonesboro at DuQuoin.
The 3a regional semifinals are today. Mount Vernon will host Carbondale at 4:30 while Marion and Mattoon play from Olney.
