Marion County Savings Bank snatched the lead late in a Salem girl’s majors game in a 6-3 victory over Radiac on Monday. Marion County Savings Bank trailed 3-2 in the top of the fourth inning.
Radiac scored three runs in the second inning, but Marion County Savings Bank still managed to pull out the victory.
Kenley Cripps led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Marion County Savings Bank. The pitcher went two innings, allowing three runs on one hit and striking out six.
Emily Parrot toed the rubber for Radiac. The pitcher went three and a third innings, allowing five runs on one hit and striking out eight. Kinslie Parrish threw one and one-third innings in relief.
Emily Jones, Gracie Long, Keira Merideth , and Karmen Murray all had one hit to lead Marion County Savings Bank. Marion County Savings Bank didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kenley Cripps had the most chances in the field with seven.
