The 1st Annual Marion County Fair Vendor Fair was a success according to organizers who hope to build on the event in future years.
Kaitlyn Hawkey put together the event for the fair association.
“Saturday was a huge hit. People here starting at 9 a.m. ready to go. They had a lots of conversation with all of our outdoor vendors. I think a lot of our craft vendors and indoor people had a great opportunity to sell and their business out there. I’ll be sending out a survey to vendors this year, and my information is out so if you are interested in doing it next year, get ahold of me and we can start planning ahead.”
Hawkey says based on interest, she expects to add more craft vendors next year.
