The Marion County Fair will hold its 1st Annual Outdoor Vendor Fair this weekend.
Kaitlyn Hawkey is putting the event together. She says it will be held from nine to five Saturday and 11 to five on Sunday.
“They wanted to give a place for vendors to go who have all these opportunities to showcase but don’t have a home to fit in like the Home Show or Craft Fair. They have excavators or pools and spas that want to get out to the public. So we are doing free admission and free parking so people can get out enjoy the day and talk to people from these companies.”
Hawkey says they are still taking last minute signups.
“We are going to be marking off the outdoor vendor spots and if we fill up under the grandstand with the 12×12 spaces then we will move additional areas also covered or we can do outdoor areas as well. We have 3 booth rental sizes…a 12×12, 25×25 and 50×50 depending on what kind of equipment or things they are bringing with them.”
Hawkey says those who are fair sponsors or want to be a fair sponsor will get a 50-percent discount.
