The State Girls Track Meet will be held this weekend on the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
In Class 1a competing is South Central’s Brooke Cowger who is competing for Patoka Co-op in the discus along with classmate Kyla Engel in the 800. Mater Dei is competing in the 4×800 relay. Christ Our Rock’s Sarah McKowen and Rylee Brammeier are both in the 3200m.
In the 2a state girls competition is Salem freshman Finley Puricelli who will be competing in the 400m. Mount Vernon’s Kamaree Pollard in the triple jump along with the Mount Vernon 4×100 meter relay team. Pollard is also competing in the 100m and so is the Lady Rams 4x200m relay team.
