The South Central Cougars finished up their regular season with a 10-1 win at Okaw Valley improving to 21-6 on the year. The Cougars outhit the home team 14-2. SC got 3 hits from Chase Thompson as he drove in a run, Aidan Dodson had 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI. Anthony Buonaura also drove in 2 and scored a pair. Andrew Magnus had 2 hits.
North Clay finished the regular season 21-10 with their 2-0 loss to Newton.
The 1a regionals opened up yesterday, OPS Eagles got an 8-inning complete game from Logan Haines as they nipped Lebanon 1-0.
CHBC beat Ramsey 16-1, Carlyle lost at home to Okawville, Dieterich beat Cisne 4-1, Wayne City fell to Woodlawn 5-4.
