‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive results released for area cities

The US Postal Service mail carriers have released the results of the local ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive results.

Postal carriers in Salem collected a total of 650 pounds of food for the Salem Ministerial Alliance.

The Centralia carriers collected 1,522 pounds of food that will go to Centralia area food banks.

Mt. Vernon carriers reported 974 pounds of food collected.

The drive is part of the nationwide effort carried out by the US Postal carrier union.
