Christ Our Rock won on Saturday shutting out Red Hill 5-0 scoring 4 times in the fifth inning to pull away. The Stallions got RBI from Myles Pryor and Christian Nollman. Jayden Bazile had a hit and run along with Colton Oelze, Da’mari Dabney and 2 hits, Ethan Peltas singled and scored. Colton Oelze was the winning pitcher going 5 innings allowing just 5 hits. Brayden Albert worked the final 2 innings.
The 1a boys regionals open up today with play-in games. The Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Eagles will open up post season play today at home when they welcome Lebanon for a 4:30 start. Also, Carlyle hosts Okawville, Casey welcomes Central A&M, Cisne plays at Dieterich, Dupo is at Metro East Lutheran, Mulberry Grove hosts Edinburg, Maryville Christian is at Valmeyer, Woodlawn at Wayne City.
