Police Beat for Sunday, May 14th, 2023

Salem Police have arrested a 54-year-old Salem man for aggravated domestic battery and interference with a report of domestic violence.  Bryan Hester of East Rainey was taken into custody following an altercation at the home of the victim in the 300 block of East Olive Street.

Centralia Police arrested 54-year-old Lisa Baker of Field Street in Centralia for possession of methamphetamine.

Salem Police arrested two at the Walmart Store during the noon hour on Saturday for retail theft.  28-year-old Mikayla Rowcliff of DeWolfe Street in Odin was taken to the Marion County Jail for felony retail theft.  Reports indicated she paid for $200 worth of items, but failed to scan other items valued at about $1,000.   A person with her, 57-year-old Sandy Joe Davis of Dewolfe Street in Odin, was given a notice to appear in court for misdemeanor retail theft.

Central City Police arrested 23-year-old Bryce Holzhauer of North Marion in Central City on a Marion County traffic warrant.   He was taken to the Marion County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.
