Salem Earns Momentum Win Heading Into Post Season
The Salem Wildcats finished their regular season with 19 wins after beating visiting Flora yesterday 10-0 in five innings. Gavin Zimmermann was the winning pitcher allowing 5 hits and striking out 3. At the plate, Salem scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning. Josh Powless and Isaak Wiliams drove in 2 runs each with RBI also from Aden Susmena, Zimmermann, Noah Nix and Kam Wilkins.
COR Continues To Roll
Christ Our Rock left no doubt early in their 20-0, four-inning win over Mulberry Grove on the road. Lendon Isaiah had 4 hits, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Colton Oelze tripled and drvoe in 3 runs on 3 hits. Christian Nollman also had 3 RBI. Brayden Albert and Drew Lueking pitched in the win. Christ Our Rock will tune up for the post season with a game at Red Hill.
NC Falls To Breese Central
North Clay fell to Breese Central 4-1 in Louisville. Central trailed 1-0 after 3 innings but scored single runs in the next 4 innings for the win. Cody Dickshot doubled and drove in 2, Dan Kohrmann homered for Breese Central. In the loss for North Clay, Alex Boose had 2 hits. Chase Lewis was the winning pitcher for Breese going 6 innings allowing 4 hits and striking out 8. Ayden Jones took the loss for North Clay.
