Salem’s Alek Bandy vaulted the Salem Wildcats into 3rd place at the Cahokia Championships with his 2nd place finish in the pole vault held at Breese Central on Wednesday afternoon. Those points moved Salem ahead of Roxana and into 3rd behind conference champion Freeburg and runner-up Columbia. Salem’s Holden Richardson finished in 5th place.
