A 33-year-old Kinmundy woman was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for criminal trespass to property after entering a car on the Law Enforcement Center’s parking lot.  Sheriff’s officials say Vanessa Wooden of Freemont Street had originally come to the jail saying she needed a place to stay.  After being told she couldn’t stay there, she reportedly went into the parking lot where she was seen entering the car and rummaging through it.  At that point, Wooden was taken into custody and got her wish to stay in jail.

41-year-old Eva Potter of Salem was arrested for retail theft following an early Tuesday morning traffic stop.  Potter was wanted by police following a May 2nd incident at Salem IGA.  She was later released from the Marion County Jail on a notice to appear in court.

35-year-old Richard Wessling of North Cedar in Sandoval posted $500 bond and was released on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on pending aggravated DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
