The Orphans Elite basketball team traveled to Cape Girardeau over the weekend facing somet tough teams in the Gold Bracket. They beat a Missouri team by 28, then fell to a good team from Memphis by 1. In bracket play, lost to a high level Illinois team before turning it around and beating the Memphis team by 1. Jeffrey King led the Orphan Elite in scoring. Eli Stevens, John Hart and Talan Woodward led them in rebounds.
