They opened up with a 10-2 win over the Diamond Dawgs. Luke Shumate drove in 3 runs and Gavin Meinhart had 2 RBI. Keytin Grawe added an RBI, Avery Gullion 2 hits and 3 runs scored. He also came in and got SC out of a bases loaded jam in the final inning to shut down the comeback for winning pitcher Garret Shumate who struck out 8 in 4.1 innings.
SC then upset the #1 ranked GMB team in Missouri and tournament top-seed St Louis Bears in the semifinals 11-5. Payton Gullion had a 2 run double, Avery Gullion added an RBI and Keytin Grawe had a hit and scored 3 runs. Avery once again came in to pitch in the final inning with the bases loaded and only 1 out to get the Storm chasers out of another jam and help make a winner of Gavin Meinhart.
SC ran out of steam in the title game losing to the US Nationals 8-6. Luke Shumate had 3 hits for SC and drove in a run. Meinhart drove in a run on a triple and also RBI from Garret Shumate. Avery Gullion had a hit and 2 runs scored. Payton Gullion was really good in the start going 4 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run in the game.
