A 79-year-old Salem man was injured Thursday morning in a two vehicle crash on South Broadway at Kell Street.
Salem Police say Billy Ellwood of Harris Road was northbound on South Broadway when an eastbound pickup truck driven by 38-year-old Phillip Hicks of Country Club Estates in Salem pulled in front of him. Ellwood broadsided Hicks’ pickup.
Ellwood was transported to Salem Township Hospital by United Medical Response. Hicks refused medical treatment. He was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop intersection.
The crash occurred at 6:55 Thursday morning.
