Two Centralia residents have entered guilty pleas in Marion County Court to separate aggravated battery incidents.
31-year-old Laquisha Lockett of Marquis Drive in Centralia admitted to elbowing a Centralia Police officer in the head in an April 18th incident. She was placed on two years’ probation, ordered to abstain from drugs and alcohol with treatment and random testing along with undergoing a mental health evaluation.
45-year-old Daemon Brown of East 3rd admitted to striking a person in the head with his hand at Tammy’s Hallway on East Broadway in Centralia in April. He was placed on two years’ probation, ordered to undergo drug or alcohol and mental health evaluation and any recommended treatment along with anger management consoling. Brown was also given credit for 38 days already served in the Marion County Jail.
Both entered the pleas after waiving preliminary hearings in their cases.
