2022 Post Prom participants try out the hula hoops.

The Salem Lions Club will continue its tradition of hosting the Salem Community High School Post Prom.

The event is chaired by Lion’s Club members Tabitha Meador and Scott Steward.

Meador says a number of activities are planned along with lots of prizes.

“Post prom is back to normal.  We will have food provided with pizzas and Chico’s is bringing their taco bar.  The entertainment has been boosted with a number of games, Kim’s Party Jumps, Glow Bingo from the Community Center.  We will also have our door prizes.  A number given away including $500 prizes given away at the end of the night so kids need to stay for the whole post prom to be eligible.”

Other prizes that include dorm-size refrigerators, iTunes gift cards, various food, gas and clothing gift cards, electronic items, big screen TVs, and much more

Post Prom will be held in the gymnasium after prom, from midnight to 3 a.m.

The Lion’s Club is about $1,000 short on funding the event right now and would appreciate any last minute donations.  They can be dropped off at Salem Community High School or Salem City Hall or mailed to the Lion’s Club at Box 532, Salem, IL 62881.
