Wildcats Stay In Cahokia Play With Trip To Freeburg

The Salem Wildcats have dropped 4 straight as they head into their road game at Freeburg.  Salem fell to the Midgets at home earlier in the year in a tight 2-1 loss at SCHS Field.


SC 17-1 After Win Over Effingham

Anthony  Buonaura worked 3 solid innings in the win as South Central improved to 17-1 on the  season with a 4-2 home win over visiting Effingham.  Chase Thompson had 2 hits and 2 runs scored, Buonaura added a hit and RBI with a run, Aidan Dodson doubled and scored, Brody Markley walked twice and drive in a run.


CORLHS Knocks Off Bunker Hill On The Road

Christ Our Rock knocked off Bunker Hill on the road 5-1.  Brayden Albert doubled and scored, Jayden Bazile had 2 hits including a triple and scored 3 times.  Lendaon Isaiah and Colton Oelze drove in runs.  Parker Boehne and Omari King added singles.  Albert was the winning pitcher going 5 innings allowing 6 hits and 1 run with 5 strikeouts.  Da’mari Dabney came in and worked 2 innings of relief allowing just 1 hit and had 4 ks.
