OPS Clinches At Least 3-way Tie For MTC Crown
In prep softball this afternoon the OPS Lady Eagles host Wesclin. The Lady Eagles are coming off a 12-0 win over Clay City/North Clay to clinch at least a 3-way tie as MTC regular season champs. OPS finishes 7-1 in the league and are 13-4 overall. Hailey Lane had 2 hits including a 2-run home run and 4 RBI. Lauren Robb also had 2 hits and drove in 3. Spicer was the winning pitcher.
SC Routs Vandalia
South Central scored 10 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings as they rolled past Vandalia 12-4 to improve to 14-5 on the season. Taegan Webster, Jaylyn Michel and Kaitlyn Swift had 2 RBI each. Ella Watwood, Brooklyn Garrett and Abi Shuler all drove in runs as well. The Lady Cougars will host Edwards County tomorrow for a double header.
