Kaskaskia College Board member Jim Beasley has held onto his seat on the board.
With all the late-arriving absentee and vote-by-mail results entered, Beasely increased his lead from 29 to 33 votes over challenger Brian Brink. Fayette County was the last to complete its vote count on Wednesday. The results are still unofficial pending the April 25th canvas of votes in each county.
The final vote tally was 5,002 votes for Beasley and 4,969 for Brink.
The second Kaskaskia College Trustee position was won by incumbent Brian Holthaus who easily outdistanced the other candidates.
