The Christ Our Rock Stallions scored 17 runs in the 2nd inning as they dismantled Maryville Christian on the road 28-2. Da’mari Dabney stayed hot as he homered going 2-3 with 3 runs and 4 RBI. Brayden Albert doubled twice and drove in 5. Christian Nollman had 3 hits and 4 RBI with 2 RBI each from Jayden Bazile, Lendon Isaiah and Drew Leuking. Colton Oelze and Parker Boehne also drove in runs. Bryaden Albert worked all 4 innings on the mound allowing 2 runs on 2 hits with 8 strikeouts. Christ Our Rock back at it today when they host Marissa/Coulterville.
Mount Vernon improved to 7-5 overall and 5-1 in the South 7 with their 3-2 win over Carbondale. Diedrich Smith drove in a run for the Rams, Kayden McGee had 2 hits. Charlie Houle moved to 4-0 on the season with the complete game win. He struck out 13 allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run.
