Police Beat for Thursday, April 13th, 2023

Centralia Police have arrested two men in separate domestic battery investigations.   31-year-old Dominique Collins of South Pine in Centralia and 35-year-old Adam Cassidy of Jonquil Drive were both taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on formal charges.

19-year-old Gregory Miller of South Pruyn in Salem was arrested by a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy at the courthouse after being sentenced to 48 hours in jail for contempt of court.

28-year-old Kerry Whipple of Cartter Road in Kell was arrested by a sheriff’s deputy on an outstanding Clay County warrant.   Bond is set at $3,000.

36-year-old Anthony Pullen of Maulding Drive in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding traffic warrant.  Bond is set at $7,500.

Salem Fire was called out to an unknown type of fire early Thursday morning off Cross Road near CJ Heck Road southeast of Salem.  Upon arrival, firemen learned the fire was a controlled burn and no property was endangered.
