The Salem 10u finished 3rd at their tournament over the weekend beating the Carlyle Mudcats 13-8 in their finale. Salem tied up the game in the 2nd inning when EJ Wolfe singled scoring a run. They would pull away for good with 2 runs in the 3rd. Zachariah Jones single scored 2 runs.
Salem opened up action with an 11-3 win over the Lumberjacks. Jacob Butts drew a bases loaded walk, Brooks Heinzmann singled scoring 2 runs and Jones doubled home 2 more in the fourth. Isaac Knapp was the starter on the mound. EJ Wolfe homered in the win.
Salem then lost to the SI Predators 15-2. Heinzmann drove in a run with a double. Jacob Butts, Nolan Krutsinger, Heinzmann and Weston Crouse each pitched.
