A 34-year-old Salem man has been arrested for failure to register as a violent offender against youth. Michael Bessett of South Vincent in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies.
45-year-old Paul Wright of Martin Luther King Drive in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County failure to appear misdemeanor warrant on a possession of drug paraphernalia conviction. He’s being held in lieu of $2,500 bond.
28-year-old Adam Owens of South Brookside in Centralia posted $500 bond and was released on a Marion County failure to appear burglary warrant.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating criminal damage to a shed in the 2600 block of Folsom Avenue in rural Odin. The owner reported the shed had been shot and damaged by an ax.
The sheriff’s department is also investigating criminal trespass to a vacant residence in the 2100 block of Poplar Avenue in Salem. Entry was reportedly made to a vacate home by breaking a back door glass and the home trashed.
