The SIJHSAA State Volleyball Tournaments are today. The Class L Tournament is at Pinckneyville High School. Two games begin at 10am, Massac takes on Mascoutah and DuQuoin plays O’Fallon Fulton. Then at 11 it’s Carterville against Highland while Waterloo plays Mt Carmel.
The Class M Tournament is at Nashville High School. At 9am it’s Aviston and NCOE, Zeigler and Red Bud play at 10, Trico and Nashville at 11 and Goreville and Smithton will play at noon.
In Class S at Herrin High School, the 10am opening round games will see Shawnee and Summersville as well as Pinckneyville and St John Chester. Then at 11 Ewing plays Trinity Stewardson and Desoto takes on Cisne. At noon, Selmaville opens with Jonesboro and Germantown takes on Rome. At 1pm, Holy Childhood Mascoutah takes on Albers and St John/Trinity Lutheran will play Woodlawn.
