After a two year absence, the Centralia Chamber of Commerce Home and Community Expo drew a good crowd over the weekend.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marcus Holland says everyone seemed pleased with the new larger location at the former Buchheit’s location in the Fairview Shopping Center.
“So the Home Show was excellent this weekend. We had great crowds over the two days. We had a lot of good vendors, and new vendors that were bringing in big things. And we are looking at next year and what we can do to keep it growing.”
Holland feels taking away the admission cost was also a plus.
“I think keeping it free so anyone can come in without any fears or anything, and there are still giveaways, things to do and activities so as along as we can keep that going I think we’re good.”
About 50 vendors were at the show this year. Holland is hoping they can return to the same location next year.
