Salem Strength Team Duo Shows Well At Arnold Festival

Salem Strength Team started 2023 strong by sending 2 of their Masters Athletes to Columbus, OH over the weekend to compete in the Masters Of Iron Bench competition at the Arnold Sports Festival on Friday March 3rd.
Bencher Bryan Brubaker finished 2nd in the Masters 1 class of the Masters of Iron competition. Coach Monty Murphy finished in 3rd Place in Masters 1 class in the Pro Series competition achieving his long time goal of obtaining his Pro Card in the USAPL as a professional bench athlete. Arnold Sports Festival is considered by many to be the largest sports festival in America dating back to it’s creation in 1989 by the greatest champion ever, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Salem Strength Team has multiple events scheduled for the 2023 season with athletes competing in events for (WRPF) World RAW Powerlifting Federation, (USPA) United States Powerlifting Association, and (USAPL) United States of America Powerlifting. The next event on the schedule will be Athlete Lacey Gillenwater competing at the WRPF “Queen of Iron” in Maryland Heights, MO., on April 8th and Athletes Eric Brubaker, Kyle Friend, TJ Gillette and Ethan Crouse competing at the USAPL “Metro East Showdown” at McKendree University on April 30th.
