The KC men’s basketball team will open up play in the Central District Region 24 Tournament today at Rend Lake College. The Blue Devils will play the 2nd quarterfinal game today as the 5-seed taking on 4th seed Olney Central College at 3pm. OCC won both games this year winning at Centralia 77-74 and 84-75 at Olney.
It will follow the first game featuring top seed and 2nd ranked John A Logan riding a 26 game winning streak, will take on Lewis & Clark after their win Saturday over Shawnee beat Lewis & Clark 78-68. That tip off is at 1pm.
Then following KC v. Olney Central at 5pm it will be 2nd seed Vincennes playing Lake Land after their win over Lincoln Trail on Saturday 94-64. The final quarterfinal today will be SWIC the 3 seed taking on #6 Wabash Valley at 7.
