It’s Sectional Final’s day around the state in boys prep basketball. At the Altamont 1a Sectional, the 2nd ranked and 29-4 host Indians will take on Tuscola. Altamont suffered a 64-38 loss to Tuscola back on February 11th. Their only loss since a setback against Breese Central way back on December 17th. Tuscola enters at 25-6 on the year.
In other 1a sectional finals, Webber takes on Meridian at Junction and Gibault will play Springfield Calvary at Hardin.
In 2a at Pinckneyville the 28-4 Breese Central Cougars will take on the host Panthers who enter at 27-6. Pinckneyville is 12-2 at home this year while the Cougars have been great on the road entering at 13-2.
Also tonight at Newton, TTown will take on Lawrenceville.
In 3a at Centralia, East St Louis will take on Triad.
And in 4a, O’Fallon will take on the hosts at Moline.
