In 3a, Centralia hosted East St Louis, and the Flyers hit free throws late and the Orphans never got it closer than 7 points in the 2nd half of the 53-39 final. The Flyers are 23-8 and will play in Friday’s finals against tonight’s winner between Mount Vernon and Triad. Centralia’s season ends at 25-7. Also in 3a, Mahomet Seymour fell to MacArthur in Decatur 62-37.
In 4a, O’Fallon led from start to finish in their 64-35 win over Quincy at Alton. Rini Harris had 19 and Isaiah Camprer 16 for O’Fallon who will advance to play the hosts at Moline after their 68-51 win over Normal Community. O’Fallon improved to 25-7 on the season.
