The Breese Central Cougars advanced with a 51-37 win over Mater Dei at Nashville’s 2a Regional. Columbia’s season is over falling to Pinckneyville at Sparta 48-45.
Also in 2a at Benton, Massac County beat Murphysboro 55-40, Carterville over Vienna 71-53 at Harrisburg, Lawrenceville won at home over Mt Carmel 51-32, Marquette beat Pana 53-32 at Litchfield. TTown won at home over Robinson 59-40 and Greenville won the Wood River Regional beating Roxana in the finals 46-26.
In 4a regional championships, O’Fallon won their own regional nipping Belleville East 52-50, Quincy won at home beating Collinsville 53-47.
