The Salem Township Hospital Board has a new member.
Brian Gansauer attended his first meeting since being appointed by the Salem Township Board to fill the remainder of the term of John Raymer who resigned when moving to Florida.
“I’m very thankful to be appointed to the board. I know how important it is for this hospital to stay sustainable for this community. Seen what the lost of hospitals in other southern Illinois communities have done to those towns and I’m glad I’m here to help do what I can to make sure we are here 20, 30, 40 years from now.”
Gansauer’s term expires next spring. He is employed by People’s National Bank where he is Community Bank President for the Southern Region.
