The South Central Cougars fell at North Clay on Senior Night 65-26 as the Cougars scored only 4 points in the 4th quarter for all their 2nd half scoring. Aidan Dodson finished with 14, Ethan Watwood added 6. Senior standout Logan Fleener was awesome for the Cardinals going for 22, 16 of them in the first half.
The Mount Vernon Rams are winners of the South 7 Conference and finished up their regular season with an overtime victory 64-61 to finish 20-8 overall and 9-1 in the league. They will open up regional play next Wednesday at home against Saturday’s winner between Effingham and Marion.
Centralia finished their regular season with a 57-34 win at Althoff.
